Our private jets - fleet in comparison

Very Light Jets und Light Jets

Very Light Jets (VLJ) and Light Jets are among the smaller aircraft categories and are popular with business travellers and private pilots. Both offer a cost-effective way to travel quickly and flexibly, especially for short-haul flights.

VLJs are generally smaller and lighter than light jets and can seat up to five passengers. They typically have a range of about 2,000 to 3,000 kilometres and a maximum altitude of about 10,000 to 13,000 metres. VLJs are often very manoeuvrable due to their small size and weight and can land at smaller airfields that are not accessible to larger aircraft. They are also often equipped with modern technologies such as glass cockpits and autopilots to make flying easier and safer.

Light jets are generally larger and heavier than VLJs and can seat up to eight passengers. They have a range of about 3,000 to 4,000 kilometres and can reach an altitude of up to 13,000 to 15,000 metres. Light jets are often equipped with luxurious amenities such as leather seats, air conditioning and entertainment systems to maximise passenger comfort.

Although VLJs and light jets serve similar purposes, there are some differences between them to consider depending on the specific needs of the passenger or company. For shorter flights with a limited number of passengers, a VLJ may be sufficient, while for longer flights with more passengers, a light jet may be a better choice. The choice between a VLJ and a light jet also depends on the availability of airports close to the destination and on the specific requirements for flight comfort and equipment.
