Nazaré - biggest waves in the world

The Nazaré coast in Portugal is known for its enormous waves, especially in the Canhão da Nazaré (Nazaré Canyon) area. In the past, some of the highest recorded waves have been recorded here. Brazilian surfer Rodrigo Koxa, for example, surfed a wave in Nazaré in November 2017, which was later recognised as the biggest wave ever surfed at around 24.4 metres.
